The YAMAHA flutes of the 30 series are designed for beginners. They offer ideal air resistance to make it easier to control the tone. This accuracy intonation is otherwise only found on more expensive models. Although other plastic recorders look similar, they still can't compete with YAMAHA's ABS plastic recorders. For the advanced players, the 30 series enables improved breath control and a clear sound thanks to its arched windway.
