• The SPC or "Strat Presence Control" is often referred to as a fat control potentiometer
• "Strat Presence Control: boosts the mids and volume of a single coil pickup for a fatter, louder humbucker-like sound
• Can also be used with a humbucker to boost the volume and mids for a fat sound
• Suitable for active and passive pickups
